Event Promotion: Boulder Brew Bash

The main focus of this event promotion topic was to create a design system and promotional materials for either a fictitious or real-life event of our choice. I chose to design for Boulder Brew Bash, a fake event centered around beer tastings and tours in the Boulder, CO area. I first created mood boards and settled on a bold, high contrasting, geometric design reflecting the modern style of the main brewery. The colors used were a mix of bold reds and golds against a muted grey background. I then created a logo in a bottlecap shape with a background depicting the flatiron range, a staple of the Boulder area. After this, I created a typography-forward and pattern-centric design system that embraced its bold, high contrast style to engage the audience. Overall, this unique simplistic, type-centric design, along with its intentional and thoughtful color selection, stands out and compels the viewer to join in on the fun.
